Privacy policy
ZiMatch collects and stores only what is needed for streaks, word practice, and optional account synchronization.
Anonymous practice
No account is required. When you play anonymously, your unlocked word count, settings, per-word correct and mistake counts, recent round history, and streak dates are stored in this browser's local storage. ZiMatch does not receive an email address or cloud practice record from anonymous play.
Clearing this site's browser data, using private browsing, or moving to another browser or device creates a separate anonymous record.
Optional email sign-in and cloud sync
If you choose email sign-in, ZiMatch stores your email address, authentication session, and practice record through Supabase. This is used only to authenticate you and synchronize your streak and word-practice progress across devices. ZiMatch does not ask for a password.
Cloud records are secured through Supabase authentication and database access controls that limit each signed-in learner to their own progress. Learn more in Supabase's privacy policy.
What ZiMatch does not collect
ZiMatch does not ask for your name, address, phone number, payment information, or demographic profile. ZiMatch does not sell your email or practice data, and your word-practice record is not provided to advertisers.
Contact and feedback
If you use the contact form, ZiMatch receives the message, the category you choose, and your email only if you provide it. The submission is delivered to a private inbox through an email delivery provider and is used to reply, diagnose problems, and improve ZiMatch. The destination inbox address is not published on the site.
Hosting and anti-bot services may process technical request information such as an IP address to deliver the form, prevent spam, and enforce short-term rate limits. ZiMatch does not use contact submissions for advertising or sell them to anyone.
Google AdSense
ZiMatch may display ads supplied by Google AdSense. When Google ad code is active, Google may receive information such as the page URL and IP address and may set or read cookies or similar browser storage. Google uses this information to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and, depending on your settings and consent choices, personalize advertising.
Where required, you may be asked for consent before advertising cookies or personalized ads are used. You can learn more from Google's pages about how AdSense uses cookies and how Google uses information from partner sites. Advertising preferences can be managed through Google Ad Settings.
Your controls
You can reset word statistics or clear practice history and streaks from the History screen. You can clear anonymous progress through your browser's site-data controls. Signing out stops cloud synchronization but leaves the current browser copy available. Account, cloud-data, privacy, and feedback requests can be sent through the contact form.
